Who would have thought that after being absent for six months, I will be gone for one year and four months after writing "I AM BACK"..... Phew!!! The truth is I AM SPEECHLESS.

through 2012.
In reality film making took 80% of my time..... but hey its the world of Diane Wilcox (DW), so I will also share what happened during the remaining 20%... trust me it is a long ride, so relax and enjoy.
2012 started with the fuel subsidy saga leading to the increase in price of everything, with very little or no increase in income, for me the strike period enabled me fine tune my thoughts about my expectations for the year, leading to the shoot of my first project for the year 2012(My Tomorrow TV Drama Series).

Yeah! beyond the fuel subsidy protest in 2012 , one of Nigeria's successful players in the music industry (THE MOHITZ FAMILY) had a stir that saw their founders: DON JAZZY & DBANJ going their separate ways to pursue.....
Nigerians are keeping their fingers crossed, as only time will tell if the split between Don Jazzy and his best friend(or should I say Ex- best friend) will make or mare their careers respectively, well I wish both of them all the best.

Even if 2012 saw the parting of the DON himself & Dbanj, the music industry saw the rise of Psquare in this same year.
Well the duo of Peter & Paul popularly known as Psquare, are still waxing stronger with the effective directorial approach of their brother and manager JUDE ENGEES OKOYE.

The remix of their hit song 'Beautiful Onyinye', done in far away USA with Rick Ross(one of American's biggest Rap artiste) and Chop my Money Remix with Akon and May D are making waves in the entertainment scene globally. Psquare has risen over the years to become africa's biggest acts... at least now I understand what they meant when they sang 'WAHALA DEY', some years ago, positive wahala from Psquare is here to stay .
For me Psquare remains my 1st and Present love, as I admire their hard work and consistency, 'more grease to their voice and dance steps'.
INYANYA, FINALLY ON POINT IN 2012
Remember the 2009 winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa, Inyanya?
Oh! yeah... the guy that rocked the stage and swept all the votes with his R&B swag and emerged winner of the competition. Since then he remained with his R&B style, which some how did not click with the Nigerian audience.... he just had to get it right, so Inyanya went back to the drawing board to fix the puzzle....
and boom! he is all over the place in 2012 with his KUKERE hit.
YEAH Inyanya is finally on point, and its been smiles for him, even his bankers are smiling too...
don't ask me how I got to know.

My Rise as a Film Maker continued in 2012 as I shot the movie 2FAST 2DANGEROUS.
The Movie 2FAST 2DANGEROUS is an FMZ initiative, done by
young Nigerians for young people. 2FAST 2DANGEROUS shows the life of six
teenagers who are in a hurry to become adults therefore acting like adults or
so they think.
But there are always consequences for our actions
especially when we live on a fast and dangerous lane.

Ademuyiwa Bruno, Geraldine Benson, Kelvin Oni, Amanda Bassey , Mercy Marcus and
Ebitimi Johnson, as these are the six teenagers who think they own the world.

Who am I to complain, 2012 was hectic, fun and Amazing... Considering I was told the world will come to an end in 2012, lol!!!
Well if you are reading this, it means you are in the ship YEAR 2013, congrats and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
