CHILE'S PRESIDENT SAY'S: 708 killed in quake....

President Michelle Bachelet says that Chile's earthquake killed at least 708 people................. sharply increasing the known death toll.

The president tells a news conference that the country faces "a catastrophe of such unthinkable magnitude that it will require a giant effort" for Chile to recover.

She spoke at a news conference Sunday after a six-hour meeting with aides and emergency officials coping with Saturday's magnitude-8.8 quake.

Powerful aftershocks from Saturday's 8.8 Chile earthquake continue to rock the country, but the capital, Santiago, is calm as people cautiously begin to move on with their lives.

The South American nation has been hit by numerous aftershocks, some reaching over 6 points on the Richter scale, and looters have ransacked stores, taking everything from boxes of food to plasma TV's.

Thank God,The Hawaii Tsunami turned out to be more bark than bite as the Tsunami warning for Hawaii has been lifted.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center canceled the Tsunami warning for Hawaii, after waves caused erratic surges in the sea but did not appear to cause significant property damage. The alert was called after a major earthquake in Chile a half-day earlier had caused Tsunami warnings to be issued for most of the Pacific basin.

SYNOPSIS

Jessica is a young, single mother who puts all her energy into her career after she was disappointed by her daughter’s father, who left her and married her cousin. Jessica’s world cannot get any worse as her daughter (Ella) grows up to be a kleptomaniac, making her a very unhappy lady, but her life is brightened up when she hires a new personal driver (Neto).

Without the knowledge of her daughter, Jessica weds Neto on a one year marriage contract which lasted only for six months and ended in a divorce.

The twist in the movie came when two years later; Neto becomes engaged to marry Ella.

Watch "Silent Scandal" to find out what happens when Neto realizes that his Ex-Wife who he is madly in love with is the mother of his fiancé.

N/B:In my Opinion "Silent Scandal" ended in a strange way.

HOLLYWOOD TO SHOT THE SEQUEL OF "LAST KING OF SCOTLAND" IN NIGERIA.

The "Last king of Scotland" is a movie centered around late Ugandan President Idi Amin.

Serge Cassia who is the Producer of the sequel (The Insert), has chosen to shot in Nigeria with the help of the Federal Ministry of Information and Communication.

New York Film Academy will also commence training next month in Abuja.
