HOLLYWOOD TO SHOT THE SEQUEL OF "LAST KING OF SCOTLAND" IN NIGERIA.


The "Last king of Scotland" is a movie centered around late Ugandan President Idi Amin.
Serge Cassia who is the Producer of the sequel (The Insert), has chosen to shot in Nigeria with the help of the Federal Ministry of Information and Communication.
New York Film Academy will also commence training next month in Abuja.
2010 is a year for Nollywood?

  1. Very good development for the movie industry.When u consider d economic nd socio-political implication of this move,u ll know dt d world is coming to Africa n Nigeria readily comes to their mind.I just ope our local film makers in their myopic viewpoint, wont shoot it down.
    Truth is dt a new breed of film makers r set to reposition Nollywood wt adequate skills.

  7. I have written a sequel, but it takes place in Uganda! It centres around the character of a child soldier who disarmed and almost captured a fleeing Amin at the end of his misrule.
