CENTRE OF ATTRACTION DEBUTS ON TV

Diane Wilcox production, a Lagos based media content creation company, is set to introduce a new comedy drama series, Center Of Attraction to the Nigerian TV audience. The first season of the comedy drama series which debuts on E-Star channel of Startimes Digital Television, will be aired every Sunday at 8.30pm -9pm on the platform and will subsequently broadcast on terrestrial television stations across the country.

In a release issued by MediaWaves Network, the company in charge of marketing the programme, Center of Attraction was created due the obvious dearth of quality comedy drama shows on Television and the desire to bring refreshing family entertainment programme to Nigerian homes.

Set in a medium-scale hair dressing Saloon run by a young woman in her early twenties under the supervision of her ever indulging banker mother, the programme ex-rays in a very hilarious and satiric manner the social, economic and political issues in our society with the aim of effecting positive societal change. According to the release, Center Of Attraction will be an advertiser’s delight as it is sure to deliver significant eyeballs because of its uniqueness, profound acting, engaging scripting and creative directing style.

Produced and Directed by Diane Wilcox, a New York Film Academy trained TV/Film producer, Center of Attraction parades essentially new talented acts and a few of the old, in line with the producer’s vision of introducing fresh minds who will shape the future of the industry.

  1. I love Centre of Attraction... esp. the theme song. I think there is need to shoot higher quality pictures; it looks too "ordinary".
    Kudos!
