SAY YES TO POSITIVE PERCEPTION and NO TO NEGATIVE PERCEPTION

... In my sitting room watching NIKITA, an American Television series.

The lead character NIKITA played by MAGGIE Q is mind blowing as she has got me on the edge of my seat screaming Nikky Baby at the end of every fight scene....
Then it Clicks this is not the first time I am seeing Maggie Q, Yes!!!

Back in my university days I saw the Chinese movie NAKED WEAPON, and the Lead Character CHARLENE was played by Maggie Q, Back then she was a lot younger and fragile *smiling*.

Maggie Q has got me thinking, when I see a Chinese person the first thought I get is MARTIAL ART , when I see an Indian and a Mexican I think BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE with so much romance running through their veins, And of course when I see an American I think INTELLIGENCE & POWER , my thoughts have being patterned this way, thanks to what they have sold to me through their movies, hmmm!
Now I am curious what has NIGERIA AND GHANA been projecting through their movies?
To quench my curiosity I decided to do a research on what NOLLYWOOD AND GOLLYWOOD are selling to the public, and here is the result of my research.
60% of the people I spoke to said Nollywood projects that Nigerians are Greedy, due to the mega display of  the use of ‘JUJU’ to harm their friends and family member in their movies.
20% were of the opinion that Nollywood projects
‘FAKE LOVE’, as the movies they see shows that when your neighbour tells you they love you, run away because there is always a selfish interest attached to it.

The remaining 20% said when they watch Nigerian movies all they get at the end of the movie is that Nigerians are ‘419ers’, i.e FRAUDSTERS.
After hearing all these I was speechless, but come to think of it what is the average opinion of a foreigner about a Nigerian???
Our Movies play a vital role in how others see us, so please Nollywood Practitioner’s instead of exporting the Negative aspect of our country let us export the positive and beautiful part of Nigeria.

Well my result on Gollywood was simple and straight forward.
15% of the people I spoke said Ghanaians sell their culture, costume and environment in their movies while the remaining 85% screamed that Gollywood projects nudity .
Movies are all about ‘Make Believes’, and the world will only Believe what they see, please let us all join hands and protect the Image of our countries.
SAY YES TO POSITIVE PERCEPTION and NO TO NEGATIVE PERCEPTION
