I just woke up with a slight head ache, why am I not surprised? It’s not the first time, since the noise emanating from my generator and my neighbor’s, would not allow me sleep like a baby, No thanks to Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN),
As their name suggests, they do not hesitate to “Hold Power”, I guess the power situation in ‘Naija’! got worse as PHCN took over from, the former electricity company, NEPA PLC, Known on the streets as ‘Never Expect Power Always’, ‘Please Light Candle’, lol! 
We can only hope for better power supply by the end of this year…….. Despite the noise of the generators, I can hear the arguments of my siblings on only God ‘knows what’, and the laughter of a neighbor’s baby reminding me that life goes on………………………..
Expect ur 6000 megawatts when u abseentee president Musa finally comes back.For now enjoy the noise of generators.......
ReplyDeleteGreat narration dW.. Makes one wonder how many billions was d estimated budget to supply 6000megawatts.. & how many megawatts was actually delivered for d amount Awarded & to Whom? 'Never Expect Power'. Still we seat on our hands in 9ja, with massive headaches pounding heads that have already been hit hard by d hOtt Sun - which could be harnessed to supply Power.. What do we dO Now? Only in Nigeria can thieves tell u how much they want to steal & actually get away with it. Wonderful!!!
